My accommodation was a... read more stunning newly built cottage facing the jungle. The room is huge with a lovely en-suite shower (24 hrs hot water, power shower) and WC (western style).
The cottage is furnished beautifully with an extremely comfortable large double bed, storage for clothes and the ceiling fan kept the room really cool even at the end of April.
Unlike other places I have stayed in Goa the accommodation is silent at night - apart from some lovely jungle chirping noises! No constant scooters screaming past, no crazy dog barking......just tranquil peace and quiet. Plus, and this is a huge plus for me - there were zero mosquitos in the cottage.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bed linen and towels are new and changed regularly and the staff will get your laundry sent out and delivered back to you in perfect condition.
Food is available and is totally freshly made and delicious. Filtered drinking water is available from the well on the property and in constant supply, which is a huge bonus. There is a pretty outdoor covered area, kept cool with fans when the weather is hot and with sofas and chairs, coffee machine, kettle, fridge etc where guests can relax and have a fresh juice or some food and use the wifi etc. The management at Namaste Jungle are always on hand and want to do everything they can to ensure their guests have the most perfect experience of Goa and they are doing an amazing job of this.
Namaste Jungle is a ten second walk from Purple Valley yoga and all the markets, beaches and local towns of the area are easily accessible with a quick taxi ride.
